About Us
The Wounded Marine & Family Assistance Program is a 501 (c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code, and is made up of people from all walks of life, all with a heart to be faithful to those who have served so faithfully. People just like you. The Wounded Marine Program was conceived as a result of the tremendous array of challenges and needs our wounded warriors and their families may encounter. The Wounded Marine and Family Assistance Program is proud to play a role in helping those injured, and their families who need and deserve our help.
Every person who chooses to be a part of this worthwhile endeavor is an integral part of the support it provides our wounded Marines every day. Thanks to your donations and generous support from other organizations, the Wounded Marine Program is making a difference.
The purpose of the WMFAP is to raise needed funds to assist and support the injured Marines wounded in combat, injured in line-of-duty operations or in support of operations. It also seeks to help their families who often suffer tremendous stress financially, emotionally and physically as a result of a loved ones wounds or deployment.
Recovery from an injury can take days, weeks, years, or even a lifetime. In some cases the injured never fully recover and have to endure a lifetime of hardship as a result of their wounds. While our Government provides some support, seldom is it enough to take care of the multitude of financial and other problems that arise.
Please be a part of their solution.
