Reason for Doing This:
Want to give something back for those who have given so much for me.

After seeing his brother come back from Iraq injured, he decided that it was time to put his love for athletics to good use.  He saw first hand how important a support group is for mental and physical recovery. In Robert’s own words, “How many wounded soldiers come home to limited or no support?  I have an enormous amount of respect for the Marines who protect our freedoms stateside and abroad.  I feel that on a certain level it is taken for granted the sacrifice these soldiers make to defend something that they believe in.  In my opinion it is the least I can do to raise awareness on behalf of a program that will assist wounded marines and their families.”

Robert will be competing in his first half-ironman triathlon.  To help Robert, please contact him at rbolden9@yahoo.com
